There is no room for decency or compassion within the republican party. This guy has to totally repudiate his previous stance on health care in order to be re-elected­. This is truly sad, but it was predictabl­e, once the republican party allowed itself to be taken over by the radical right wing of their party. We all saw this coming and it will be the demise of the republican party. You can't cater to a small minority and expect to win elections. They managed the Tom Foolery and the trickery to gain control of the House but the jig is up now.
