Occupy Wall St. Comes To Nashville, TN

The Occupy Wall St. Protest kicked off their occupation October 6, 2011 with a rally in Legislative Plaza in Nashville, Tennessee. I met with organizer Michael Custer Saturday, October 15, 2011 and received several pieces of literature from him including The Declaration of the Occupation of New York City by the NYC General Assembly. The Plaza had over 100 attendees and more were arriving for a 7:00 pm rally. Food and water was provided to anyone attending and the atmosphere was welcoming and peaceful. According to Michael and the rest of the protesters, the city of Nashville, has been very welcoming and accomodating to them. No date yet when this will end or if it will, I'll keep you posted. Below are photos from the Protest held in Nashville, and a few from the Protest held in Columbia, TN.
